What is the purpose of the rapture?

first "Pre-tribulation" = the Rapture occurs before the 7-year tribulation

First, it is important to recognize the purpose of the rapture. According to the prophet Daniel, there is a seventieth "week of years" (= 7 years), which has not yet taken place. The entire prophecy of Daniel, the seventieth week of years is about the nation of Israel.

" Here, God addresses specifically to Israel. The seventieth week of years, the 7-year tribulation period, must therefore be a time in which God deals especially with Israel.
